Prodigal what?

Sorry,
I know it's been a while since I last blogged, well actually I guess this is my first real blog. that other post before this doesn't really count now does it?

I'm not going to dissapoint and say "well now i'm going to leave you because I can't really say much" that would just be too uncool.

Let me talk about something I did within the last week or so... I took Scotty to FanExpo 2008 in toronto. for those of you who don't know what that is... click here. I really wanted to go because Sohmer and Lar were going to be there from LFG (looking for group) and I wanted to get my hands on the Richard minature... it was cute though the colouring didn't really turn out as well as I had hoped for US$40. In that respect I was quite dissapointed. To me, Richard should look like he's dressed in black robes... not baby blue. And I did get the LAST ONE on the LAST DAY of the convention so I guess that goes for something... not really. As you can see in the photo left: Sohmer was cool, he LOVED Scotty, who promptly ran behind the table and began beating everyone with his ballon sword (compliments of the security gaurd upon our arrival). I believe I heard him say to his fiance "yes dear, you win, we can have kids". Scotty does that to people. I also think it hilarious that within a day or two after the con, They posted Richard Onsies for sale on the LFG site. I think Sohmer has babies on the brain, and it's all because of Scotty!

You can find more by these guys at the LFG link above and Least I Could Do, which I havn't gotten into but is pretty funny. Their main company I guess is Blind Ferret Productions. I heard there was supposed to be a movie made based on LFG but I didn't get a chance to ask. I would like to see one.

Scotty loved it, he was getting lots of attention from all the cute chicks (including almost a dozen girls in skimpy skirts and fishnets from the "Evil Cheerleaders" booth) all of whom Scotty was terrified. I don't know where he got that from... must be his mother.

Scotty got his picture taken hundreds of times (he was so CUTE with his pirate outfit) and even posed with some cool outfit wearing freaks like Superman, Ironman, Doctor Who and others. He's all hyped up (even now) and wants to go again to see all his favorite superheroe's.

I can't let him down!
Till next week
