Phase II consisted of installing new recepticals for the electricity, replacing Knob & Tube wires (dead wires, not in use) with 14/2 wiring, and replacing the old vapour barrier with bubble wrap.
Phase III began with 3" horizontal strapping every 16" with an extra strap centered at 24" from the ceiling to accommodate the railing that will hide the new pine/drywall border. I finished off today by putting up the first 4' of pine.
Here's a picture of the finished bathroom which already shows what the dining room walls will look like. I'm not certain if the colour scheme will change, but the pine/drywall combo will definately be a nice touch. We will also be continuing the dark hardwood flooring (bamboo) in the dining room as well as most of the rest of the house.
I feel a little better getting my hands on something that makes sense...
... and playing with compressor tools.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?"
