Some women were actually trading my coins for drinks so they could get enough coins to "buy me" for the night. Thank the gods I didn't stick around long enough for the winner.
Early in the evening a girl came in with some guys and she was wearing this shirt "rub for luck". I guess she was the only other person getting harassed as much as I was. It was really packed almost until 11. Then a bunch of people began to leave and some more tables opened up.
The music was decent, there was only a single performer with a guitar and some Irish songbooks, but he wouldn't play anything I liked or knew. Scott and Sandy were scheming against me as Scott would camp out with his camera and get Sandy to flip my kilt when I wasn't looking. Lucky for me, he didn't get any good shots.
1) Don't try too hard, the women are already going nuts and will search you out.
2) Don't drink too much, everyone else is and you don't need to end up following a mob of drunks.
3) Wearing a kilt is fine, but on this day, kilts are in season and it's a dangerous thing to be regimental around all those cougars. They'll embarrass the shit out of you!!!
